SEKISUI CHEMICAL Co., Ltd. has made a joint display for the first time at
the Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE) World Congress, one of the largest exhibitions on automotive technologies in the North America. Our five business units: S-lec Film (PVB interlayer film), Foam & Functional Materials, Industrial Tapes, Specialty Chemicals of SEKISUI CHEMICAL, and SEKISUI TECHNO-SEIKEI Co., Ltd., all of which manufacture automotive high-performance plastic products, participated in the exhibition.
Various kinds of our products in pursuit of "environment-friendliness", "comfort", and "safety" were displayed in our booth. We also set up a hands-on section where visitors could experience actual performances. Once every hour, we presented our proposal that SEKISUI CHEMICAL group, with the help of our collective strength, will develop technologies that would be required for future vehicles.
We had many visitors not only from the United States but also from other countries and regions including Europe, Asia, and Japan.
